Yes...

I totally understand what you are talking about Paul.

Recently, my wife did a charity event for the Pajama program. If you have never heard of that program, it was started by a lady name Genevieve. At one point, she ended up on Oprah.

this program is a non profit organization that collects pajamas and books for children in need. My wife was very intrigued by this program and decided to run a charity event in our city to benefit those kids.

The theme for this event was "Pajama party Crop." Women were able to scrapbook for free if they brought with them a pajama or a book for a child.

Long story short, she collected 135+ pajamas, 125 books, over 40 pairs of socks and more than $350. She had media coverage from local newspapers telling people about the event, for free, she had local businesses donate food, prizes, etc.

it was AMAZING! I couldn't believe it. I am extremely proud of my wife. She did not in any way make any money from this event. Everything went to the charity.

It was one of the most unselfish acts I have witnessed and it brought much joy to her, myself and all of those kids when she delivered the pajamas to them.

One of the amazing things is that people call her asking when she is holding another event. In fact, she held on on February 9th, 2008 and is doing another one in the near future. It's different and for different cause.

I just wanted to share this here because it seems appropriate.

Paul, you are 100% correct. if you do something with a genuine concern, people will see that in you and do hundred times more than necessary. That's what happened at those events.

Very proud husband,

Peter

P.S.
And she doesn't even have your Publicity Kit Paul. :)
